What is Sublimation?

Sublimation is a professional printing process that uses heat to permanently transfer designs onto specially coated items — like tumblers, mugs, shirts, and more. Unlike vinyl or stickers that sit on top of a surface, sublimation ink becomes part of the material itself. Its a photographic illusion that fuses color with material, producing vivid, durable and seamless designs, the options are endless.

This means:

  • The design won’t peel, crack, or fade over time.
  • Colors stay vibrant and smooth for years, even with daily use.
  • Each piece has a seamless, high-quality finish that feels completely smooth to the touch.

At Kreative Kreationz, every sublimated item is handmade — from the design to the final press — ensuring your piece is durable, beautiful, and one of a kind.

What Can You Sublimate On?

Sublimation works best on light-colored, polyester, or poly-coated materials.
You can sublimate on:

  • Tumblers, mugs, and water bottles
  • T-shirts, hoodies, and tote bags (65%+ polyester)
  • Keychains, coasters, and ornaments
  • Photo panels, blankets, and pillow covers
  • Notebooks, bookmarks, and name tags

Tip: Sublimation won’t stick to plain cotton or dark materials — the surface needs a special coating or polyester blend for the design to bond properly.

How Do I Order?

Shop for the items you want, and add it to your shopping card. When you have finished, proceed to your shopping cart and check out. Check and ensure all information is correct before confirming your purchase

Ordering & Customization

Q: Can I customize any item on your website?
A: Most of our tumblers, mugs, tote bags, and accessories can be personalized! If an item allows customization, you’ll see a text box or upload option on the product page. For custom designs, just upload your image or type your personalization before adding to cart. If there isnt a personalize option visit our custom order page and submit the form. 

Q: I have a specific design in mind. Can you create something custom for me?
A: Absolutely! We love bringing your ideas to life. Visit our Custom Orders page and fill out the form. We’ll review the details and provide a mockup before printing or engraving.

Q: How long does it take to make a custom item?
A: Custom and personalized orders are typically created within 5–7 business days, depending on order volume. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order is on the way.


Shipping & Processing

Do You Really Offer Free Shipping?

YES, we offer free economy shipping in the United States

Q: How long will shipping take?
A: Standard shipping usually takes 3–5 business days after processing. If you need it faster you can have it expeditated (at an additional cost) contact us.

Q: Do you offer local pickup or delivery?
A: At this time, we only ship orders. However, if you’re located near Groton, CT, you can email us to check if a local pickup option is available.

Q: Will I receive tracking information?
A: Yes! Once your order ships, you’ll automatically receive a tracking email with a link to follow your package in real time.


Payment & Billing

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Payments are processed securely at checkout.

Q: Why was my payment declined?
A: Check that your billing address matches the address on your card. If everything looks correct, try a different payment method or contact your bank for verification.


Returns & Cancellations

Q: Can I return or exchange my order?
A: Because each item is handmade and custom-made to order, all sales are final unless your item arrives damaged or defective.

Q: What if my order arrives damaged?
A: Please email photos of the damage to [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll review and offer a replacement or refund if applicable.

Q: Can I cancel or change my order after it’s placed?
A: Orders can be canceled or modified within 12 hours of purchase. After that, production usually begins and changes may not be possible.


Care & Product Tips

Q: Are your tumblers dishwasher safe?
A: We recommend hand-washing only with warm water and mild soap. Avoid soaking or scrubbing the design area to ensure longevity.

Q: Can I use my tumbler for both hot and cold drinks?
A: Yes! All of our tumblers are made with double-wall stainless steel insulation, keeping drinks hot or cold for hours.
